I’ve now got a SSD (solid state drive) as my OS/programs drive. Because of the nature of SSD drives (SUPER-DUPER-MIND-BLOWINGLY fast, but limited write cycles before they die), I wanted to move non-essential write-heavy things off of the C drive (like my web browser that is constantly caching and writing temp files, but isn’t mission critical).

So let’s say I wanted to build an app that people could download using a keycode included with my physical CDs. This app would open like any other, in its own window, and it would provide the lyrics, wallpapers, HD music videos, exclusive remixes/demos/alternate versions/whatever.
