So every year, for the past three or four years, I’ve sent Christmas Cards to a few of my YouTube friends. It’s nice, and I really enjoy Christmas, so I totally have fun doing it. However, after three or four years there are still a few friends I’ve never once received a card back from, or heard a “thanks” from or anything… so I’m torn on whether I should keep sending cards to them or not. Like, I don’t do it for the thanks, it’s not about that. I’m torn because if these particular people aren’t “in to” Christmas, or just don’t care for cards, I’d rather not waste my time, my money, their time, and the resources it took to manufacture the card, if they’re just gonna toss it as soon as it arrives. You know?
But on the other hand, if they do enjoy receiving them, and they’re just super busy and it slips their mind every year, if I don’t send one this year, maybe these few people will think I forgot about them, or don’t care, or whatever.
I dunno. I’m filling out Christmas cards, and it’s fun! Carry on.

Thank you for sending me Christmas cards despite my humbug nature. I do keep them, I’m just bad at responding to things

I haven’t gotten my cards to send yet this year, but I’d love to swap with you. I love sending cards but rarely get any back either.

Well, you’re also dealing with a group who spend the majority of their time in online pursuits. Physical mail does tend to take a backseat. I think it’s a great idea, though. I think I’m going to send cards this year.
