Some people have been concerned that my remix might confuse people who want to buy “Forever Yours” the week of Christmas to help Alex get a #1 single.
Have no fear!
The charts count all sales of remixes and alternate versions of a song towards the chart position of the ORIGINAL single (Alex’s version).
So if there happens to be TEN DIFFERENT VERSIONS of “Forever Yours” released this weekend, you can safely buy all ten, giving ten sales counts towards the original single for chart position.
…that’s kinda why I chose this specific song to remix for charity. Alex and I have been friends for forever, and this allows me to help both him and Save the Music with just one track. =)
