So what if I listen to the “Forever Yours [Lastufka Remix]” more than any other track in my iTunes library. You have to LOVE what you do, or why bother?
Seriously, if digital files could be worn out, I would have worn out Erase This twice over the last two years. The thing is, when you’re writing a song, painting a picture, or writing a story, you should be striving to make it perfect in every way you can… according to your own tastes, of course. So my idea of a perfect song might resonate with some (like ”Can’t”, which now has over 570,000 views) or it might not (“Making A Scene” is my favorite song from Erase This, but not most other peoples). But everything you produce should at least resonate with yourself. If not, you’re doing something wrong. =)

Alan, your remix is so almost perfect that I can’t stand it. But it gets to the end and it bugs the crap out of me that you ended the song on “forever yours” rather than “we own the night and it can’t be undone,” especially after the analysis vid.
